Morocco in 12 Days: Slow Morocco, from the Blue City to the High Atlas
Twelve days to see Morocco slowly. After a first night in Rabat, you spend two nights in Chefchaouen, with a whole day to wander its blue lanes. Visit Volubilis and Meknes on the way to Fes and its medieval medina, then cross the Middle Atlas to two nights in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Head west through the Todra Gorge, Skoura and Ait Benhaddou to three nights in Marrakech, with a day in the High Atlas villages around Imlil.
This is one of our gentlest itineraries. Most stops have two or three nights, there is a free afternoon every few days, and the long road back from the desert is split by a night in Skoura. In Marrakech the guided visit takes a morning and the rest is yours, and the Imlil day brings cool mountain air before you fly home. Depending on the package you choose, you stay in high-end 4-star and 5-star hotels and riads, in boutique 5-star riads, or in the finest properties at each stop, with a luxury camp in the dunes.
