Two Weeks in Morocco: The Blue City, the Sahara & the Atlantic Coast
Two weeks is the ideal length for a first visit to Morocco, and this route uses every day well. After a night in Rabat, spend two nights in Chefchaouen, then visit Volubilis and Meknes on the way to Fes. Cross the Middle Atlas to two nights in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, follow the Todra Gorge and Skoura to Ait Benhaddou, spend three nights in Marrakech with a day in the High Atlas, and finish with two nights on the Atlantic in Essaouira.
Nearly every stop has two or three nights, so you unpack often. Free afternoons in Chefchaouen, Marrakech and Essaouira balance the guided visits, the desert day comes with no packing, and a night in Skoura keeps the return over the mountains comfortable. Depending on the package you choose, you stay in high-end 4-star and 5-star hotels and riads, in boutique 5-star riads, or in the finest properties at each stop.
