Your Journey, Day by Day
Welcome to Morocco. Your driver meets you at Casablanca Airport for a private transfer to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy a relaxed start after your flight. If your arrival time and the visitor schedule allow, visit Hassan II Mosque with an authorised guide. Its Atlantic setting, carved decoration and detailed tilework introduce Moroccan craftsmanship. We confirm visit timing when planning your arrival day. A gentle coastal outing is another option. This sample journey starts in Casablanca; we can adapt the route for another arrival airport.
- Overnight in a hotel in Casablanca.
Travel from Casablanca toward Fes, with selected visits in Rabat, Meknes and Volubilis. In Rabat, focus on Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah area, then continue toward the imperial city of Meknes. At Volubilis, your local guide introduces the Roman-era remains, mosaic floors and former public buildings. This is a busy transfer day, so we agree the priority stops and allow time for lunch and breaks. We can shorten the sightseeing if a quieter pace is preferred. Arrive in Fes for the evening.
- Overnight in a Riad in Fes
Explore Fes with a licensed local guide, discovering the medina through its lanes, traditional workshops and historic buildings. Visit Bou Inania Madrasa when open, admire Nejjarine Square and its fountain, and learn about the city’s craft traditions. Your guide explains which religious sites can be entered and which are viewed from outside. A tannery viewpoint and the Mellah can be included according to your interests, with time for breaks and lunch. Shopping is optional.
- Overnight in Fes
Leave Fes early for a full day of changing landscapes. Travel through Ifrane and the Middle Atlas, pausing in cedar woodland when conditions allow. If Barbary macaques are visible, observe them quietly from a distance without feeding them. Continue toward Midelt for a lunch break, then follow the route past the Ziz Valley’s palm groves toward Merzouga. Settle into your hotel near Erg Chebbi for dinner and rest before tomorrow’s desert activities. We plan an early start to reach the desert before nightfall.
- Night in a Hotel in Merzouga.
Discover the landscapes around Erg Chebbi on a private 4×4 excursion. A visit to Khamlia introduces local Gnaoua music, while other stops depend on conditions and your interests. Any visit with local families is arranged respectfully and depends on their availability. After your included lunch, prepare for the camp. Enjoy a camel ride when conditions allow, or choose a vehicle transfer instead. Settle into your selected camp for dinner and an evening in the desert. Sunset and stargazing depend on the weather; ATV and buggy outings are optional extras.
- Overnight in a luxury desert camp.
After breakfast, leave the dunes and travel toward Tinghir. Pause for views across the palm oasis before continuing into Todra Gorge, where high rock walls rise beside the river corridor. Enjoy a gentle walk when local conditions allow, with the length adapted to your pace. Allow time for lunch before continuing to Dades Valley. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy dinner after the road journey. Markets and artisan stops can be discussed according to your interests, with no compulsory shopping visits.
- Overnight in Dades Valley
Travel through the valley landscapes toward Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the UNESCO-listed ksar, where earthen houses, defensive towers and narrow passages illustrate southern Morocco’s building traditions. Upper viewpoints involve uneven steps and uphill paths; a shorter visit is possible. After lunch, continue across the High Atlas through the Tizi n’Tichka pass to Marrakech. Additional film-studio or museum visits can be discussed as alternatives, allowing enough time for breaks on this long transfer day.
- Overnight in a Luxury Riad/Hotel in Marrakech
Discover Marrakech’s historic quarters with a licensed local guide. Explore Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, subject to opening arrangements, to see decorated courtyards, tilework and carved details. View the Koutoubia Mosque from outside, then continue through the souks toward Jemaa el-Fna. Your guide adapts the walk around your interests and pace, with time for lunch and café breaks. Majorelle Garden and other additional visits can be arranged separately, with advance tickets where required.
- Overnight in Marrakech
Your private journey ends with a transfer to Marrakech or Casablanca Airport, as agreed in your proposal. Collection is arranged around your flight time and the road journey. A Casablanca departure requires a longer transfer from Marrakech, so we plan the timing carefully when confirming your flights. If time allows, enjoy a relaxed breakfast or a final stroll before leaving.
