Egypt in 10 Days: The Pyramids, a Nile Cruise & Abu Simbel
Ten days that cover Egypt’s great sights at an easy pace. Spend three nights in Cairo for the Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and a full, unhurried day at the Grand Egyptian Museum, then fly to Luxor and board your Nile cruise. Over four nights you see Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu and Kom Ombo, and from Aswan a short flight takes you to the colossal temples of Abu Simbel. A night in an Aswan hotel and a last afternoon in Old Cairo round off the journey.
This is the most relaxed way to see all of Egypt’s highlights in one trip. Domestic flights replace every long journey, including the desert road to Abu Simbel, the cruise carries you between temples while you rest on deck, and busier days are followed by gentler ones. You have three nights in Cairo at the start, four on the river and a quiet hotel night in Aswan before the flight north. Depending on the package you choose, you stay in high-end 4-star hotels and a premium cruise ship, or in some of the finest 5-star hotels and boats on the Nile, such as Aswan’s historic riverside palaces.
