Madaba, Mount Nebo & Kerak to Petra

A Full Day in Petra

Walk through the Siq to Petra’s Treasury with your private guide. Explore the Nabataean city, including carved façades, royal tombs and the theatre.

The longer climb to the Monastery is optional and can be considered according to your energy and available time. Return to your Petra hotel for a relaxed evening.

Is Jordan Safe for Tourists?

Indeed Jordan is considered to be relatively a safe country for tourists to visit. This is one of the most peaceful, and friendly nations in the Middle East, and it is famous for its cultural diversity. However like virtually all destinations it is advisable to be cautious and observe the environment particularly areas that attract a lot of traffic. The kind generous nature of Jordanians to visitors makes travelling through Jordan a warm and specially inviting experience.

When is the Best Time to Visit Jordan?

We recommend travelling to Jordan between March and May, and between September and November as it is warm and perfect for wandering around the desert and historical structures. This special period is suitable for travelling to Petra, Wadi Rum and even the Dead Sea depending on the climate. Summer is hot especially May to August and most especially in the desert areas while winter is cold, especially in December to February in Am Jordan and Petra.

How many days are ideal for visiting Jordan?

In order to enjoy all the top visitor attractions, we suggest that at least 7 to 10 days are spent in Jordan. This is enough to spend time for a city of Amman, the ancient city of Petra, desert of Wadi Rum and the sea of the dead. If you don’t have time for that, then you can stick to a few major sites, but if you have more time then you definitely should not because this country has a lot to offer culturally and naturally.
