Italy in 14 Days: Rome, Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, Florence & Venice
Two weeks that bring together the Italy most people dream of on a first visit. Begin in Rome with your own guide at the Colosseum and the Vatican, then travel south to walk the streets of Pompeii and settle into Sorrento, high above the Bay of Naples, with a day on the Amalfi Coast. Head north to Florence for a food tour, Michelangelo’s David, the Uffizi and a day in the Tuscan hills, stop in Bologna for lunch, and finish in Venice, with a day in Verona or the hill town of Asolo.
Two weeks give this journey room to breathe. You stay in only four hotels: three nights in Rome, three in Sorrento, four in Florence and three in Venice, so you unpack less and live more like a local. Guided visits are mostly in the mornings, there is a completely free day by the sea, and cities are linked by fast trains and private drivers, with someone to meet you at every station. Depending on the package you choose, you stay in high-end 4-star hotels in central locations, or in some of the finest 5-star hotels, cliffside retreats and historic palazzos in Italy.
