Jordan Itinerary 9 Days

Your Jordan tour is as soon as you arrive at Amman Airport. On arrival, our team will be waiting to meet you; they will also help you get a transfer to your hotel in Amman. Depending on your flight’s arrival, you may get the chance to walk around the city and have some rest after a trip. Amman, the modern and colourful capital of Jordan, becomes the perfect place where the business meets history.

• Overnight in Amman.

Lunch will be then followed by traveling north to visit the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Jerash, which is one of the best preserved Roman cities not in Italy. Here, tourists can see the enlarged constructions such as the Oval Plaza, Hadrian’s Arch as well as the Temple of Artemis, it is possible to move at the same boulevards everybody had once moved – Romans.

Following the visit, it is time for city tour of Amman with the visit of the Amman Citadel which will allow visitors to have nice view of Amman then the Roman Theatre. Subsequently, continue visit Amman and go shopping at its markets and souks then return to the hotel.

• Overnight in Amman.

Today you travel south with your first stop at Madaba also referred to as the city of mosaics. After this, you proceed to Mount Nebo – an important biblical place that houses the burial place of Moses’ successor Joshua, where Moses was buried to view the Holy Land.

After this, you will visit Kerak the site for the famous Kerak Castle that was a Crusader fortress shedding light on Jordan’s medieval period. Last, your day will end with a visit of Petra which was once a city dug out in rocks and now a new wonder of the world.

• Overnight in Petra.

After breakfast, devote the whole day for the tour inside the Petra – The world wonder and a leading archaeological advantage of Jordan. Walk through the rocky pass known as the Siq and meet the magnificent treasury, the ultimate example of the rock- carved architecture. Further discover other great features of Petra including the Royal Tombs, the Roman Theater and the Monastery. If you are one for physical activity, climb to High Place of Sacrifice for great panoramic view of the valley.

• Overnight in Petra.

Following breakfast immerse yourself and drive away from Petra to the vast flat desert of Wadi Rum alternatively known as Valley of the Moon. Famous for red rocks and huge desert spaces Wadi Rum is the perfect place to discover in Jeep safari tour. There are opportunities for you to capture beautiful structural attractions like the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and beautiful magnificent features like the Khazali Canyon and then you will be taken for a Bedouin bbq dinner. Enjoy a night in a desert camp with the feeling of the quiet desert around you.

• Overnight in a luxury desert camp in Wadi Rum.

Day 06 of your Jordan itnerary 9 days has to be started early in the morning to get best view of sunrise over the vast area of Wadi Rum. Following breakfast you will have the opportunity to discover the peaceful desert climate and afterwards proceed to Aqaba, the only seaport city on the Red sea in Jordan. There you can lay down in the sun just by the shore, go swimming or offer your self a real treat and take a glass-bottomed boat ride, snorkelling or scuba-diving to enjoy the wonderful coral reefs at the bottom of the crystal blue waters.

Apart from its nice and beautiful view, you will be able to visit some of the shopping centers and delicious foods since Aqaba has nice and clean restaurants and hotels.

• Overnight in Aqaba.

Relax and shop in Aqaba as leisure time is available in the morning to have some wonderful last glimpse of the Red Sea. Later, you go to the Dead Sea which is the lowest point of the earth. Being famous as the source of mineral water with the curative mud bath, Dead Sea is a great place for a rest. The remainder of the day can be spent bobbing in the saltwater or if that isn’t available, a similar mud bath at your resort.

• Overnight at the Dead Sea.

Today, the options are between the adventure and a historical trip. The Mujib Siq Trail would be a great interest to those who love nature as it present a thrilling hiking through the canyons of Wadi Mujib which is only available between April to October.

Furthermore, if you are more inclined towards religious experience go to Bethany Beyond the Jordan where the baptism of Jesus is said to have taken place. After the selected tour, go back to the hotel and take a rest on the leased territory, the area of which is surrounded by the Dead Sea.

• Overnight at the Dead Sea.

On the last day you will be taken on a trip to the Dead Sea after which you will have a breakfast and free morning until transfer to the Amman Airport to fly out. If you are not planning a late flight, there may be time for another swim in the Dead Sea or to make the last purchases of souvenirs on the way to home.
