On arrival in Tunis, you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and settle in. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk in the Tunis Medina, the city’s old town filled with small streets, colorful markets, and historic buildings. This is your first taste of Tunisian culture and local life.

After breakfast, head to the charming village of Sidi Bou Said, famous for its blue-and-white streets and Mediterranean views. Later, explore the ancient Carthage ruins to see remnants of Roman history. Optional visit to the Bardo Museum, home to one of the world’s largest collections of Roman mosaics. Return to Tunis for overnight stay

Drive to Kairouan (approx. 3 hours), one of the holiest cities in North Africa. Visit the Great Mosque, wander through the Medina, and see traditional carpet workshops. Kairouan offers a calm, spiritual side of Tunisia and is a key destination for understanding the country’s culture and history.

Leave Kairouan and drive to El Jem (≈1.5 hours), where you can explore one of the world’s largest and best-preserved Roman amphitheaters. Continue to Matmata (≈2.5 hours), a unique village famous for its underground troglodyte homes still used by local families.

Travel to Douz (≈2 hours), the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Experience a camel ride or 4x4 adventure in the golden dunes, watch the sunset over the desert, and enjoy a night in a comfortable desert camp under the stars. Drive to Tozeur (≈2 hours) and explore the Chebika Oasis, a beautiful area with palm groves, small villages, and scenic mountain views. Spend some time walking through Tozeur’s old town, visiting local markets, and learning about the region’s history and culture.

Today, travel from Tozeur to the coast (≈4–5 hours with stops). Along the way, you can make optional stops in Kairouan or other historic towns. Arrive at Sousse or Monastir, enjoy the beach, explore the marina, and taste fresh local seafood.
