Day 1: Welcome to Florence!
Welcome to Italy! Your Italy Itinerary 12 days focuses on the Tuscany region. The tour begins at the Florence airport, where our driver will be waiting for you at the gate, holding a sign with your name. We will then transfer you to your hotel in the city, allowing you to check in and relax to recover from jet lag. If your flight lands at another airport, rest assured, we will arrange a private transfer to Florence for you.
Day 2: Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour
After breakfast at your hotel in Florence, we will head straight to the Uffizi Gallery for a guided tour. Skip the long lines and step into a treasure trove of timeless masterpieces. You will be amazed by works from legendary artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, and Donatello, all explained by our expert art historian.
Day 3: Tour of Pisa, Leaning Tower
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Florence, we will go on a day-trip to the town of Pisa. During our guided tour, we will take a relaxed walk along the ancient walls and visit the Cathedral, showcasing beautiful Romanesque artwork, as well as the 12th-century Baptistery and the Monumental Cemetery.
Before leaving, we will visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, where we can take some iconic photos. Then, we will climb to the top for an amazing panoramic view of the historic city.
Day 4: Free Day in Florence
Today, you can do whatever you like. You can explore Florence by yourself or join a local guide to see places like the Basilica di Santa Croce history museum or Museo dell’Opera del Duomo. You can also take a day-trip to the beautiful Tuscan countryside to try some delicious Italian food. Or if you just want to relax, you can stay at your hotel and swim in the pool. It’s all up to you!
Day 5: Florence to Siena
Bid farewell to Florence and embark on a picturesque 1.5-hour drive to the medieval gem of Siena. After settling into your accommodation, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s historic center. A guided tour takes you through the Palazzo Pubblico, Torre del Mangia, the Duomo, and the Piccolomini Library. Discover the artistry of the Museo dell’Opera Metropolitana and explore the patrician villas, offering a glimpse into the city’s aristocratic past.

Day 6: Day-trip from Sienna to Montepulciano and Pienza
After breakfast at your hotel, we will head out for a day-trip to the medieval towns of Montepulciano and Pienza. Pienza, known as the “ideal city of the Renaissance,” invites us with its beautiful layout. We’ll visit the Duomo and Palazzo Piccolomini, and enjoy breathtaking views from the Piazza. Then, we’ll have lunch at a traditional dairy farm before continuing to Montepulciano, famous for its Renaissance-style buildings. We’ll climb up to the Piazza Grande, explore the historic sites, and soak in the rich artistic history of these ancient towns.
Day 7: Day-trip to Brunello di Montalcino Tour
Explore the captivating region of Brunello di Montalcino, known for its drinks. Begin your day with visits to historic landmarks, including the imposing 14th-century fortress of Montalcino. Wander through the Piazza del Popolo, visit the Palazzo dei Priori, and explore the charming streets lined with arts and crafts shops.
