The day is full of history and today you’ll have a scenic drive from Amman if going south to Petra. , the first one you will visit is a town called Madaba which is considered a birthplace of Byzantine mosaics followed with the map of the Holy Land that was created in the 6th century and is painted on the floor. Next on your sightseeing tour, some of the oldest paintings in the world are seen at the rock of Sodoma; then visit the Mount Nebo where Moses, who died without entering the Promised Land saw the same from the top of the hill. From here, one gets to look at beautiful horizons that include the Jordan Valley, and the Dead Sea together with Jerusalem when the climate is right.
